The Dei Laudes Choir is comprised of singers from Tennessee and North Carolina. The choir seeks to educate & insprire our audiences, and choristers through music, both in the United States and abroad. The choir spends four weekends in residence in various US cities each year. During this residency, the choir rehearses, offers an outreach concert to a local retirement community or orphanage, offers a formal concert, and serves as the service choir for Sunday morning worship at a local church. In the summers the choir tours nationally and internationally. The choir has performed in many notable churches around the world including: Berliner Dom & Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial (Berlin, Germany), St. Nicholas (Leipzig, Germany), St. Nicholas, (Prague, Czech Republic), St. Peter's & St. Maria Maggiore (Rome, Italy), Duomo (Siena, Italy) St. Croce (Florence, Italy), St. Moise (Venice, Italy), Washington National Cathedral (Washington, DC).  In June 2008, we will tour southern France and Switzerland as a part of our Third European Concert Tour.









The Jerusalem Cross is a complex form composed of the intersection of four tau crosses representing the Old Testament law. The four smaller Greek crosses which surround the central cross, represent the fulfillment of the law in the gospel of Christ. It has also come to represent the missionary work of the church - spreading the gospel to the four corners of the earth. It is our hope that we have indeed praised God - Dei Laudes - with our singing.
